Since the beginning the focus of this company has been to provide superior quality electrical service at a reasonable price to all of our customers, and that will never change. We strive to make every project a pleasurable experience by being dependable and assisting others in any way possible. Our goal is that all of our customers are satisfied with the services we provide and stay satisfied for many years after projects are completed.

History

Ash Electric LLC was founded in 2011 by current owner and master electrician Ian A. Ash. Starting on mainly residential construction projects the company’s reputation quickly grew into a reliable electrical contracting company. The majority of our business came from the recommendations of our previous satisfied customers, and by making quality workmanship our top priority, that list is still growing rapidly. Today, we are able to take on projects large and small providing all aspects of electrical service including design, new installations, renovations, upgrades, repairs, maintenance, and much more.

About the Owner

Ian A. Ash

Ian A. Ash gained an interest in becoming an electrician at an early age. He was influenced by his grandfather Rodney A. Ash who was a career lineman and electrician. By watching his grandfather at work Ian became inspired to someday be able to complete these tasks on his own. At the age of five Ian found another source of inspiration in a local electrician who was rewiring his building. This electrician would let Ian watch him work and hold a flashlight for him from time to time. These two people gave Ian the introduction and inspiration that would eventually lead him into electrical contracting.

While attending the Saint Johnsbury Academy, Ian pursued his passion and started his electrical career. With in class and in field electrical training, Ian gained the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. At the Academy commencement ceremony, Ian received the Streeter-Trafton Award, a prestigious award given for exceptional performance in technical education.

After high school, Ian continued his education at Southern Maine Technical College and began working on commercial and industrial electrical systems. Ian graduated from the Vermont State Apprenticeship program, and in 2007 Ian became a licensed Journeyman Electrician. Ian spent the next three years honing his skills, and in 2010, at the age of twenty five, became a licensed Master Electrician. Ian realized his true passion was in electrical contracting and founded Ash Electric LLC in March of 2011.
